Table Setting Ideas Course for your Shabbos Table or Simcha- Table Setup
The following is a Table Setting Idea Course with six pages of ideas and pictures for you. Enjoy!
In June, I put together an event for 250 women coming to honor 7 Rebbetzins in Baltimore, MD. We used 4 rows of banquet, rectangular tables- say about 6 or 7 tables pushed together interspersed with 3 round dessert tables. Kind of like this picture: Last year I set up 28 round tables because the woman's group wanted a "french bistro" style. The rectangular tables this year will make more of a statement, and I think there will be more people attending this year. It is outside, so this picture/idea is perfect for our event. (This is from Colin Cowie's website, Oprah's very own entertainment expert.) You can do this if you have a large room or backyard for your event. It is also an instant impact look- less "cozy" and intimate but definitely powerful. And that is what we want for the 7 powerful women that are being honored! You can also incorporate this into your regular Shabbos table. Having an assembly line of dishes or candles going down the center of your table will give you the same powerful look. A table runner will also contribute to the power of the table.
