Who am I
My name is Rivka Slatkin. I started Jewish-life-organized.com as a way to collect my own research on getting organized and share it with others. I am AMAZED by the overwhelmingly positive response that Jewish-life-organized.com has been getting and I never expected the site to create such a stir. Jewish-life-organized.com has even won the 2007 Award for Publication Excellence, I never imagined that!
It all started when my husband asked me to make Pesach and never having done it before, I flipped out!
I started collecting a ton of research on general organizing (I am a professional organizer) as well as watching and interviewing Jewish homemakers that I know personally, about how to make Pesach.
I collected my findings into what I call, my Yom Tov Perfectly Organized Collection.
I made my plan available to anyone through this website and you can read more about it here at this link
Apparently, many many other people have been looking to get their lives organized with information specific to Jewish lives, as I can see from the response I've been getting.
I'm glad people now have a place to go to learn how to get organized and am pleasantly surprised about how many people are following and using the Perfectly Organized Collection and reading my newsletter, entitled "The Jewish Holiday Reminder Service".
I personally am Orthodox, so I write that way, mentioning every aspect of Jewish lives that could stand to be organized. I want you to be able to get your Jewish life organized. You go from there.
