Be Very Picky About What You Let Into Your Life!

by Sara
(NY)

We try not to spend money on things that aren't neccessities or have value in other ways.

A- We go shopping with a goal in mind (never for pleasure!)

B-If we see something else we want to buy-it has to have a good reason to be in my home!

C-And only if it's the best possible price for that particular item. (Which means, if it's not-I don't buy it and by the time I leave the store, I've already forgoten that I wanted it in the first place!)

This is doubly helpful as I am in the middle of a major decluttering project and don't want to bring anything else into my home!
